| SpringBrook Kids at SpringBrook-Kids.com is the continually evolving side of what began in 1997 as SpringBrook Toys Inc. dba SpringBrook Kids. Our name, location, and products continue to develop with the changing nature of business in today’s economy. Our History: In 1997 SpringBrook Toys Inc. began sourcing and providing unique, superior quality products out of a home-based showroom, at regional trade shows, and through in-home party sales. In the spring of 2000 SpringBrook Toys Inc. opened its first retail boutique under the name of SpringBrook Kids. Later that year, we also launched our first Web site, SpringBrookKids.com. SpringBrook Kids expanded to a more central location in 2002. In 2003, we saw our best year ever, and the first to show a solid profit. Early in 2004 we bravely shopped overseas when most shied away. In the spring of 2004, SpringBrook Kids became successful direct importers of products from several new overseas suppliers. By the summer of 2004 research and experience proved that the economies of maintaining a small bricks and mortar shop didn’t make sense when compared to the Internet opportunity. Customers were calling, e-mailing, traveling to the store from all over the region, sometimes from as far away as California. Requests for shipping increased. We couldn’t keep up. The Web site suffered. Thus, despite the best year ever in sales, our strong commitment to providing the best learning and growing products to as wide an audience as possible led us to focus on the Internet. Closing the physically limiting shop in favor of focusing on Internet expansion just made sense. Today, SpringBrook Kids is now accessible at SpringBrook-Kids.com. We are pleased and honored to continue presenting you with an inspiring variety of finely crafted children’s and family focused products from all over the world. Many of the lines we carry are not readily available in the US today.
